Children’s Birthday Parties full of adventure……

With so many activities and so little time, here are some themes and what they could include:

The birthday party experience…….

Our parties follow the forest school ethos of being child led events, and allow for some free play amongst the activities that we offer. We will adapt to the energy levels and needs of group, making each party experience unique.

Making it personal:

We will seek your thoughts and ideas about the party to make it unique and personal.

Prices:

Prices include having the space decorated ready for you, a campfire, marshmallows to toast, refreshments such as hot chocolate and squash, art materials and facilitated activities. All you need to do is arrive, with some food for the children. We even provide invitations for you to print and hand out before hand. Costs start at £145 for 3 hours for up to 12 children and 2 adults. Parties are run by a trained leader who is also DBS checked and qualified in first aid.

Food:

You are welcome to bring your own baps a bottle of sauce and reheat your precooked sausages using our pans on the campfire. Don’t forget to bring the cake! We can suggest other food ideas for the woods if you want to discuss this with us, but unfortunately, we are not able to provide food for your party.

Availability:

Parties can take place in either a morning 10.00 – 1.00 or afternoon 2.00 – 5.00 (during BST only) slot. Parties run throughout the year at weekends, and during holidays. Time slots for longer parties can be negotiated prior booking. In the event of very high winds, or torrential rain, the party may need to be rescheduled to an alternative day for safety reasons.

What you need to bring:

The cake, some candles, a camera and any other goodies for the party that you need. With the invitations we will include a parental permission slip (which will need to be completed by a parent of each child attending), a list of what to bring/ wear, and details of where to find us. While we welcome people to dress for the party theme (hats, tiaras, stripey t’shirts etc) we actively discourage fancy dress costumes, as these are normally highly flammable and we will have an open fire on site.

Accessibility:

Nant y Glyn is only accessible via a sloped footpath and not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs, or people with severe mobility difficulties.
